The largest U.S. design festival returns October 16 thru 22, 2008, running in conjunction with National Design Week. Over 90 events are currently scheduled!! This year DesignPhiladelphia is filled with more lectures, events, parties, studio tours, workshops, and exhibitions than ever before, giving you plenty to see and do.

The new DesignPhiladelphia website http://www.designphiladelphia.org/, designed by Polite Design, has now launched! Visit often as events will be added and updated regularly. Links to all of this year's participants and sponsors showcase their amazing work.

Watch for designer features, project highlights, city tours, and funky photos at the DesignPhiladelphia blog - created by Kevin Derrick, blog master extraordinaire.

The Call for Entry for "Philly {heart} Design", curated by MIO, is now available Entries are due September 12th, so get to work! Visit http://www.phillyheartdesign.com/ for event details and entry forms.

DesignPhiladelphia 2008 brochures will hit the streets and mailboxes in September and the ever-popular pocket calendar will be available in galleries, stores, coffee shops, and participant locations throughout the city in early October.
